Çağdaş Onaran

Çağdaş Onaran was born in İzmir, Turkey, in 1999. He started to compose in 2018 and studied with Mehmet Can Özer and Füsun Köksal. He also attended lessons, courses, and masterclasses with musicians and composers including Salvatore Sciarrino, Marco Stroppa, Pierre Jodlowski, Dmitri Kourliandski, and Katherina Rosenberger. His works have been played by musicians and ensembles such as Matteo Cesari, Paolo Ravaglia, Fie Schouten, hand werk, KNM Berlin, MCME, Quartetto Prometeo, and different parts of the world: Turkey, Italy, Germany, Russia, and the Netherlands. Currently, he is continuing his Master’s degree at Kunstuniversität Graz, with Franck Bedrossian.
