Li Cheuk Shing (Sampson)

Li Cheuk Shing (Sampson) is a Hong Kong composer. He is graduated from the Bachelor of Arts in Music at Hong Kong Baptist University. As a composer, he has studied composition with Camilo Mendez. With a deep interest in the power of sound, he experiments different sounds and textures, weaving a sound world that he imagines in his composition. He was selected in Toolbox Percussion composition competition, New Generation 2022 and 2023, Hong Kong New Music Ensemble’s Sonic-Visual Interplay (CoLAB) and JACK Studio 2024. His works were performed by Dawning Quartet, Romer Quartet, Passepartout Duo and New Morse Code.
