Luis Alberto Tenaglia

Luis Alberto Tenaglia (Mar del Plata, Argentina, 1986) has graduated in Composition (with honors) at the Luis Gianneo Conservatoire, Mar del Plata, and at the Santa Cecilia Conservatoire, Rome, Italy, with honors (cum laude). Later he went on doing advanced studies under Giorgio BaRstelli and Luis Bacalov at the Accademia Musicale Chigiana in Siena, Italia, obtaining Diploma di Merito with the former. He has obtained special mentions at the J. C. Paz composition prize (Argentina, 2012 and 2016) and at the 5th. Mauricio Kagel Composition Competion (Austria, 2022). His compositions have been performed in different festivals, theaters and halls around South America and Europe. In 2017 he has founded the Ensamble Aural, an instrumental group dedicated to the contemporary music, specially interested in the music of young composers around the world. He is a Professor of Composition at the Luis Gianneo Conservatoire.
