Tatiana Gerasimenok
Tatiana Gerasimenok is a Belarusian composer based in Germany. Her works are experimental and focused on combining several art forms and the latest technologies into one inseparable. Tatiana was born in Belarus. She studied musicology at the Mogilev Rimsky-Korsakov Music College and composition at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory with Yuri Kasparov. Tatiana Gerasimenok has been selected composer for residency at the Künstlerstadt Kalbe (Germany, 2021), scholarship & residency Kunsthof Dahrenstedt (Germany, 2021), scholarship of the Kunststiftung Sachsen-Anhalt and Kloster Bergesche Stiftung (Germany, 2021), scholarship & residency at the Kulturstiftung Schloss Wiepersdorf (Germany, 2020), Künstlerhaus Salzwedel (Germany, 2020), Pyrenees-Mediterranean Creation Residence (Spain, 2020), Künstlerdorf Schöppingen (Germany, 2019). Her works were premiered at the MATA festival in New York (USA, 2019), Internationale Ferienkurse für Neue Musik in Darmstadt (Germany, 2018). Tatiana Gerasimenok has been selected composer for Académie Voix Nouvelles in Royaumont (France, 2017), Akademie Schloss Solitude in Stuttgart (Germany, 2017), EBMF International Summer Academy for Young Composers in New York (USA, 2017), etc. At the beginning of her studies, she took lessons from Brian Ferneyhough, Pierluigi Billone, Mark Andre, Claus-Steffen Mahnkopf, Beat Furrer, Alvin Lucier, Tristan Murail, Peter Ablinger, Heinz Holliger, and others.
